Do you feel led to get baptized?

Why Should I get baptized?
We believe at PCC that God makes it clear that baptism is a command for every believer.  The New Testament says baptism represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ (Romans 6:1-5). Baptism serves as a symbol of the burial of the old self and the resurrection of the believer's soul to walk in life with Christ.

How should I get baptized?
The word for "baptism" in the New Testament is the Greek word baptizo, which means "to immerse in water."Therefore, at PCC, we baptize people by immersing them in water. If you have been sprinkled, we would love to talk with you about why immersion is important.

Colossians 2:12
"having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead."

Acts 2:38
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 6:1-5
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?  Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.
