First of all, I want to thank you for coming to the
Drive-Thru Christmas Story and I pray it’s a bright spot of your Christmas
season.The typical Christmas
season is full of busyness and chaos. This year, throw in a pandemic. Not only
is it easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we now have the extra burden of doing this
in the middle of safety guidelines and restrictions. This just brings about more
disappointments, discouragements, and isolation.
This negativity increases when all we focus on is the bad stuff going on around us. I hope the worries and concerns you are dealing with right now disappeared, at least for a moment, as you looked upon the events surrounding Jesus and his birth.
May your experience tonight be a reminder throughout this Christmas Season. When you begin to get overwhelmed and discouraged, take a few minutes to pause and remember Jesus.
I also want to take this moment to personally invite you to join us on Christmas Eve. You can read more about our Christmas Eve services below.
Again, thank you for coming tonight and Merry Christmas!
