Mark Atteberry
Sr. Minister

I grew up in southern Illinois and attended St. Louis Christian College, graduating in 1977.  I came to Poinciana Christian Church in 1989 when the church had a Sunday Morning attendance of about 65.  Marilyn, my wife since 1975, is the church's office administrator and also serves as my personal assistant in author related matters.  We have one daughter, Michelle, and one granddaughter, Alyssa.  I have written 6 books and enjoy traveling and speaking as my schedule allows.  At home, I am likely to be reading, writing, watching sports, or listening to music.  Many would say my ministry at PCC has been a long one, but the years have flown by, mostly because we have stayed so busy and had such fun.  Each year seems to bring new challenges and new breakthroughs.  Serving at PCC has been a wonderful adventure.

Terry Bradds
Minister of Worship and Music

I was born in Ohio and grew up in the Xenia area. I started playing guitar at the age of five. I made my living as a professional guitarist until I was 30 years old. I became a Christian at the age of 25. The desire to know Christ and His Word led me to attend Cincinnati Bible College at the age of 30. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Bible and education, and was in the preaching ministry for 22 years. My wife Nancy and I have two sons, three grandsons and one granddaughter. Both of our sons also have degrees from CBC. I love spending time with my children and grandchildren, reading good books, writing and communicating through music. I have been the worship leader at PCC since January of 2001. I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the congregation. And. a special memory will always be the love. prayers and support during a time when Nancy was very ill. God is good!

Jeff Terpstra
Youth Minister

I was born and raised just outside of Chicago IL. I moved to Florida in high school and ended up going to Florida Christian College. I received a B.S. in Youth and Family, and am now working at Poinciana Christian Church. Me and my wife Allison love working with the kids here at PCC. We also like being outdoors and going camping, or just spending a day going for a hike. In the two years that we have been here the kids have impacted our lives and we have truly seen the work of the Lord throughout the church. My favorite thing at Poinciana is to see kids cry, smile, and sing when they hear about God's saving power.

Ingie Taranger
Director of Childrens Ministries

I was born in Manhattan, NY. My dad was a career Foreign Service Officer so I grew up overseas, mostly in South America. I graduated from The University of Maryland in 1978 with a B.S. degree in Special and Elementary Education. In 1982 I graduated from Central Florida Bible College with a B.S. degree in Christian Education. I have served as the part-time Director of Children’s Ministry at PCC since 1994. My husband Nils and I have been happily married for 25 years. We have two wonderful sons; Nils Jr. and Brock. I love to spend time with my God, my family and my friends. I also love to read, listen to music, and delight in the awesome beauty of God’s creation. I’ve been a member at PCC since 1991. PCC is a family to me. I have many wonderful memories, but one that stands out is particularly heart-warming for me. Fifteen friends piled into the 15 passenger van that PCC owned at the time, and drove 3 hours up and 3 hours back, to love and support me at my mother’s memorial service in 1995 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

Marilyn Atteberry
Administrative Assistant

I was born in Evansville, Indiana and grew up in a small town, Albion, Illinois. I attended junior college and St. Louis Christian College.  My husband, Mark, and I married in 1975.  We have a daughter and a granddaughter. We moved to Poinciana in 1989.  I was working in a secular job when the PCC elders approached me about becoming the church secretary.  Since 1999, I have been blessed to use my abilities for the church and the Lord. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.  Although PCC has undergone many changes through the years, it still feels like home and family.

Felix Estrada
Director of Spanish Ministries

I was born in Bahia de Caraquez, Ecuador, to a family of twelve children. My family heritage was one of strong Christian beliefs throughout four generations. After six years of college, I graduated from the Universidad de Guayaquil as a lawyer in 1987 and then emigrated to the United States of America where I also became a Veteran of the Armed Forces with the Navy. In 1999, I was ordained to the preaching ministry of the Gospel of Christ at South Dade Christian Church in Miami. My previous service with the Church of Christ allowed me to participate in church planting efforts from Miami to NY.  I have been blessed with a family of five; my wife Eleana and my children Juan Andres, Jose Carlos and Anita Belen. They are really my piece of heaven on earth. I joined PCC in 2006 with a team that came to serve and establish a Spanish ministry. I have been the Director of Spanish Ministries at PCC since 2007 where we have developed a third worship service totally in Spanish, in an effort to reach out to the increasing Spanish speaking population in the Poinciana area. I love to worship and praise the Lord. I play some sports. I admire the technology of our times and the beauty of modern cars…no antiques for me! In a world where Sundays are still the most segregated time of the week, I really love PCC and its authentic commitment to intercultural Christian unity and harmony.
