Missions

When Jesus left his home in heaven and came to earth to serve, he became the first missionary. Our goal is to promote that same missionary spirit in Poinciana Christian Church by always extending our vision and influence beyond our own church family. The missions we support can be divided into 2 categories: Local and Stateside Missions and Global Missions.

Mission Trips

Each May, our church partners with other churches and Johnson University Florida to go to Peidres Negras, Mexico and serve with Juan Mauricio Missions. The trip consists of building cement roofs and distributing food to families in need. Opportunities for other trips arise occasionally. Other trips have included disaster relief in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina and in Joplin, MO following the F5 tornado that hit 2011. We also have brought a mission trip to our church parking lot when we framed a house that was donated to Habitat for Humanity of Osceola County. Watch for opportunities to give toward a trip or possibly to go on a trip.
